I dunno.

Ronnie Baxter was probably a better player than Adams. Where would you rank him?
Hmm
You could make a case for half the pdc current top 32 but most of them need to win something of any note 1st.
Would did Adams win of note?
The scania open!!

I loathe Whitlock, but I'd rate him the same as Spineless.

The standard of their play is comparable
His run at the worlds in 2010 was better than anything Adams achieved

I think most people connected with darts would have Adams in the top 20 but I guess because it doesn’t fit your agenda you will no doubt accuse me of trolling again 😴

No, and I bet those players wouldn’t consider themselves above Adams in an all time ranking list.

There's a difference between greatest and best. Standard-wise you would have Chizzy and probably Whitlock too ahead of Adams. If it's about greatness, the 3 Lakeside titles, however crap they are count more than Chizzy's and Whitlock's zero (or 1?) major combined
The truth, however ugly in itself, is always curious and beautiful to seekers after it.

Whitlock won a PDC TV ranking event.

That carries more weight than any of Adams' Lakeside wins imo.

At least Chisnall and Whitlock have made major finals. Adams' best is a measly matchplay semifinal.

It's harder but not necessarily a greater achievement I'd say

Where do Beaton and Burnett rank? I mean, they both had long and undistinguished careers in the PDC (would Adams have done any better? I don't know), but their Lakeside titles were up against some very good opponents, as opposed to Wolfie who beat almost nobody on the way to 3 titles

The BDO nursed him through two divorces, a cocaine habit and a pregnant receptionist.
