I detest the group stages but I'd rather see them than not.
The format is certainly better in regard of the standard being better at the business end but it has forever been like that.
Brad's schedule is way better and wasn't sacrificing anything from the existing format

Nar only race I had interest in today was 14.20 at Nottingham but my Horse was shite. What happened like

French flat race just over one circuit, 12f I think. Horse goes straight to the outside rail from the off, must have ran an extra 2 furlongs in total. Two horses joined it after the first bend. None of them anywhere near the places. Bizarre. Even Mick Fitzgerald in the studio thought it was bonkers.

There was a race last week in the uk at Redcar it was won by a horse called Dapper Man where it bolted out on the rail the others all went down the middle at it won by about 9 lengths in a 5f race
