Is Steve Lennon underachieving? Sometimes I watch him and he's brilliant, and sometimes a game just goes by him and he gets beaten comfortably

I remember seeing a stat recently of "most ton plus averages this year" and I think Lennon was up in the top 15, seems like he has an A game that's up with anybody

Loses a lot of games when playing well, often close ones. Time will tell whether he is still earning his stripes, just not getting the rub of the green or just tends to lose his nerve when it matters.

Not underachieving imho. He really only had what 2 decent runs in TV events last 16 in GSOD and last 16 in a UK open. Has he even reached a final in a Pro Tour event?
Lennon plays a decent standard, about 94 been steady on that for the last 2 years. Difference is he is only winning 50% of his legs this year last year he was about 53%. This year that 50% is the lowest of all his peers that play at the same standard.

Yeah just in my recall i think he loses a lot of games 6-5 and i'm willing to wait and see if that is something he corrects as he's still pretty green by tour standards. Unlike say Klaasen who also loses a lot of 6-5's but I think with him it can be put down to his nerve going or his lack of faith/trust in his new action.

Always find the early Euro tour rounds are good to make some money on. Lennon and O’Connor 4/6 and 4/7 respectively are very good prices really.
