Quick correction.

Rod beat Scholten to win the 1992 Austrian Open. Not the 1997 event, which didn't even exist.

I've still got Rod's wins over Baxter and Burnett to troll with.

Ever wonder how different your darts times would have been had your family never got Sky? Our formative viewing years hinged totally on that subscription. Pheel, God and the lads wouldn't even have existed for us without it.

Always wondered how old you were Senna. Seen as your Limp Bizkit's biggest fan.

We had "On Digital" in the late 90's and early 00's (before they went bust) and Sky Sports from 2005. Don't really remember too much from the early 00's. But when we got Sky back in 05, we'd watch the World's every year.

Rod was a very good player I’ll give you that but in today’s group where would he sit. Today’s PDC has far better strength in depth.
Adams is above him in any poll I have seen for greatest players of all time.

Given that Harrington averaged in the 90s throughout the 1998 Matchplay, and on boards that had smaller segments, I would suggest he would do fine today. The PDC has more depth today, but the top-end of the PDC has always been strong.

Spineless is overrated. He's only rated highly by some because he won 3 Lakeside titles. The 2010 and 2011 Lakeside fields were piss weak. Gurney and Chizzy were both nowhere near their best in 2010, and the rest of the players he beat in those 2 years were average players who would struggle to win a tour card today.
