World Champion Adrian Lewis described his performance in the Premier League final as 'atrocious' after he lost 10-4 to Gary Anderson.

Lewis set-up a repeat of the World Championship final after a shock 8-3 win in the semi-finals over the defending champion Phil Taylor.

Lewis told BBC Radio Stoke: "I beat Phil and thought that was my final. Against Gary I played atrocious.

"I've lost two major finals now and won the World title, I'll be back".

Lewis vowed to bounce back at the UK Open Championships in Bolton on June 2: "Hopefully I can go to the UK Open and win. My form is good enough, my confidence is high and I believe in myself."
When you actually feel anger over a place like this it's time to get a life
