a good listen MH, would have liked to hear more of his thought on a unified code involving the youth and womens game.
Does not appear to be a big fan of olly.

Would have been easy to get bogged down on the unification topic Gaz and there was other stuff I wanted to get to. I didn't expect the recorded conversation to go on for as long as it did though. I'll listen later

I will be critical of one thing though......it seems sometimes you are so laid back and courteous , the questions take a while to be asked. While the questions were great I found myself thinking you should get stuck in and lash the questions at time and not worry too much about pleasantries as the will answer or not.
Then again I have little patience so I would not read too much into it.

It's a difficult balance I think and I've no delusions that I'm much good at this lark. Someone's gotta do it and I pulled the short straw

I guess if you come across as too forward you might alienate the players and they might not like it,then again you might regret not asking either.
As you say its tough to get the balance right andyou have done really well for a guy new to it in general.
who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks

I've had a listen and The Menace in my opinion comes across really well despite my lack of interviewing skills.
My first thought after was the younger players including the likes of Wade, Lewis and Nicko could do far worse than seek his advice.

Great stuff MH, not surprised you nearly quoted DoubleF at the end with the depth and length of that interview.
