Re: 8 BDO GSoD spots 'very very unlikely'

If bazza is going to reduce the mushroom intake, to lets say 4, I think it would be an idea to put the mushrooms in the CL for example.
It is a dead comp in its current format, so it could be 4 pdc and 4 mushrooms. The Grand Slam would have then room for the ET and PC winners. Obviously GS is sky and CL is ITV but at least it would solve our main gripe of the ET winners not getting a spot in the GS.
I think most of us would like to see the mushrooms booted out completely, but BDO v PDC does give good entertainment for comedy value, and a fair few enjoy it. I don't think sky would want to lose it though, as they seem to like the cross code challenge hype

No qualification criteria yet? Presumably finalists have been qualifying for this since the Slam.

Now that actual 2020 PDC tournaments are happening... announcement overdue.

I have a guess where the changes of the criteria will be

2 Ladies Invites

2 BDO/WDF places (Warren & Williams?)

Other 4 invites will be given to Pro/Euro tour events

Keep the BDO players, but invite all of them who got tour cards. The seething will be hilarious.

I think they should invite players from the WDF instead of players from the BDO.

Maybe John O'Shea as the World Master? Was a bit unlucky with the timing of when he won it compared to when they made the picks, though in fairness if it were up to me, I'd get rid of the BDO/WDF picks, the cupboard is barer than ever before. Clearly gonna be invitations Suzuki and Sherrock aren't there? Only question is how they justify giving one to Sherrock if she isn't #1 or #2 in the rankings by then

There may be a GSOD Qualifier for the ladies. BDO/WDF will be decreased but i suspect you will be right and there will be none. Although you still/should make a case for its World Champion.

The WDF don't have a world champion as the O2 side room was unsanctioned
