And we will surely be pleased to know that he will no longer be "Australian" on the circuit:

Be interesting to see how he goes, had a decent enough year last year, but with little practice until just before Q-School and no competitive darts since that fateful game with Kevin Burness, will he be in good enough nick to compete for a tour card? Can you get match-sharp enough just by playing exbos and opens?

I hope he gets a card, at least he is a character however flawed.

And even though the Australian thing is funny, he definitely immersed himself in Australian darts and brought it a lot of visual and verbal air time.

With Sherrock pulling out of the side room show it does make one wonder if Barry might have given her some assurances regarding TCs. I expect the PDC to adopt the invitational TCs that snooker does at some point in the near future, but could they actually do it right now? Would certainly make Qschool even more of a bloodbath.

I can handle 'undeserving' players being given places in invitational events, they're just a jolly-up at the end of the day, but handing out tour cards is a completely different matter, I could see a lot of people getting really pissed off. Remember two years ago Devon and Ratajski were given wildcards (after Ratajski even failed in his own qualifier), that money ended up saving Devon's tour card (though admittedly he didn't get the chance to compete in a local qualifier)

Rat wild card? As in tour card?
If memory serves he won two PCs in one weekend and secured Ally Pally spot and tour card.

I meant to Ally Pally lol, sorry! Remember two years ago when he was a BDO player, won the Masters and had such a mad season on the European Tour that he made the Euros and almost made Ally Pally, but they gave him a wildcard anyway? Fun times...

Apparently King Cunt will not resign his card, so that's one less potential School spot and one more year we have to wait before his relegation.

Ffs, with the £8k he earned this year it's not even certain he'd keep his tour card even if he somehow did the whole tour in 2020. Really disappointing, because he was really ready to make a real assault on the upper echelons of the sport
