Will anybody else join me in refusing to watch the 'contenders' in protest of this sickening decision taken by the PDC. The only one I'm at all tempted to watch is Durrant next week. The other 8 I couldn't give a shit about.

I was thinking the same. Not protesting really but I'm simply not interested in them. They are fine players and I like most of them, it's just that those games will feel even more pointless than the regular games. So apart from Durrant I'll only be watching the odd game with the contenders in it. I don't plan to watch most nights in full to be honest, the whole PL doesn't interest me that much to watch every game for 16 weeks.

So we finally start a new Premier League season. Wade v Barney should be an interesting opener which I fancy Wade to win.

Then it's Northern Ireland vs Wales where I think Superchin wins it before seeing local home boy Dobey facing Gentle Mensur.

Van Gerwen should win the rematch of this year's Worlds Final while finally I do hope Voltage destroy Dufus.

Not long before we start and I look forward to tonight's action and discussion here....

NEWCASTLE..... ARE YOU READY FOR DARTS???

Great to have darts back, hopefully missing this will give Anderson the kick up the arse he obviously needs in his darts career to get his back sorted, good to have them up in Geordieland!
