Barney and West recently got rid of him, playing well. De Zwaan was fairly amazing once if not twice this year. Wright incredible in the CL semis. Going back a bit further, remember Reyes at Ally Pally. Stupid darts.
By no means is it only 'top' players who are stopping him, and not the same one or two players either. He's not losing to idiots who are playing poorly. There's just such a depth of very good players nowadays willing and able to finish off the main man if his head's down just a fraction. He has to deal with this.
Fiss Plaps wrote:There's no aura of invincibility about him like what there was with Phil. The West defeat is the most significant one in my view: he'd beaten Steve 11 times in a row over their careers yet in the Euros match there was no "arse dropping out at the finishing line" like what Phil's pocket club used to do back in the day.
Maybe this is the Mason theory of players simply having no time to dwell on miserable outcomes because there's always another tournament just around the corner. It cuts you into looking forward instead of back. And the cannibal theory of the PDC furnace developing players into cunts. Maybe. MVG's certainly got a lot of problems.
I mean, how many players could potentially beat him at Ally Pally? Kist is another one I'd forgotten about. Played out of his skin against MVG in Round 1 last time around.
Amazing when you put into context the struggles Kist had immediately before and after that match. It's as if he channeled all of the quality he had into that one match and left it all on the stage
That's easy. He's a witch. People do have a tendency to play the darts of their life against him.
But despite any of this, he keeps on battering Chisnall every time. Odd that.

It's undeniable right now. Gary Anderson is the most consistent player in the darting universe. He outscored Michael today when he was still playing very well. Michael has been vulnerable all year to pressure. How many can we say can outscore mvg when he's near or at his peak. I mean there's only Gary really. The world's is gonna prove very interesting. I'm really pleased for Dimitri with the nine. I really like the lad. I do wish him all the best. The darts world is interchangeable with the winners right now. This is definitely a positive and very good thing. Great week. Great tournament as always.

Good evening all.
Here tonight to see the Proper Number 2 destroying that Welsh loud mouth and mother fucker after giving a lesson of darts to Mr Michael van Gerwen earlier on.
Obviously, I am fully expecting the great Gary Anderson to be called as the bwin Grand Slam of Darts 2018 Champion in approximately two hours' time.

I like that but I have to accept that van Gerwen is still the best player from the current lot.

No. MvG is still the favourite as far as I'm concerned.

Odd sky are happy to euologise about Eric, and hand out a trophy with his name on when they were so quick to sack his ass.

Gary rattled after a total of 1 leg.
2020 World Grand Prix Lucky Dip winner!
2x 2019 Q-School Lucky Dip winner!
Both as valuable as the Lakeside piss pot!
