Dave Parletti's ambition should be to pay back all the mugs who bailed him out because he wouldn't be fucking arsed to buy travel insurance.

Kudos to Daniel Day, Richie Edwards, Nick Kenny, Ross Montgomery, Michael Unterbuchner and Wayne Warren, the only ones among the regular tourers who aren't enough of a mug to stick around for the useless Cat D event the organizers have tacked on for Sunday. (£17 entry fee, ~£340 first prize, minus income tax deduction...)Rogg wrote:The return of the brilliantly misshapen conveyor belt. Denis Ovens has entered the Swedish Open.

And speaking of useless tournaments, is the BDO's version of the World Youth Championship going to be an early casualty of the uncertainty around Lakeside? As it stands I don't see any mention of them playing the early rounds at the World Masters weekend as they have usually done.

Hmm. Watching van Tergouw showing up the men's event can be the only highlight.Zeyes wrote:And speaking of useless tournaments, is the BDO's version of the World Youth Championship going to be an early casualty of the uncertainty around Lakeshite? The BDO is just getting in the way now. Its continued existence in this ridiculous state is hindering its ability to deliver anything well for anyone.
