The kind of demise the expanded Worlds field will probably make less likely in the future. At least Hamilton still would have qualified the next year, Newton would have missed even then.Fiss Plaps wrote:Two players whose careers imploded so quickly they went from being Worlds seeds in 2015 to not even qualifying the next year and one who got banned for six months for fucking about at a floor event chose to go to the BDO instead of staying in the PDC.Tommo wrote:Re-tard alert.....

In my opinion was two and three quarter pages too long. The biggest laugh was doubling the amount of people with their noses in the trough.Rogg wrote:Uncle Des has done up a pdf of some of his dreams then: https://lookaside.fbsbx.com/file/inboun ... jsHjuzuAug

Why are almost none of the sentences in the PDF properly ended with a period?

Re: The BDO Appreciation Society - Sponsored by Zeyes
An international tour for under-18 youth players, with a ranking table.
Does he actually expect more than a handful of such players to travel? "This would encourage the youth to play for something all year round" - yes, ranking points. How's that working out as an incentive at the adult level? And what's in it for the BDO if it was to create such a youth tour? It would "give our code more stability and with that worldwide recognition." Oh, but of course.
"Plans must be set in place whereby every player within the BDO system from super league all the way up to the top professionals on our tour will become a member of the BDO in some way or another and I cannot stress the importance of this as its success will create revenue enabling us to give better prize monies, provide better venues and cut BICC fees."
Yeah, good luck with that.

Unterbuchner won some Swiss thing. Another step towards the Grand Slam maybe, nobody knows. He's got his Noppert on now.

He beat the wonderfully named Spaniard (sorry, Catalan) Marti Marti Santamaria 3-0.Rogg wrote:Unterbuchner won some Swiss thing. Another step towards the Grand Slam maybe, nobody knows. He's got his Noppert on now.
Fallon beat Deta 2-1 in the women's final.
And guess where it's being held? That's right: a leisure centre, a venue so hated by the mushrooms!

According to Dartsdatabase, he's 8th in the BDO rankings, not including the cool 24 ranking points he gains for this. There's another jobberfest in Switzerland tomorrow, I guess he'll be there, mopping up the vomit hopefullyRogg wrote:Unterbuchner won some Swiss thing.
