Hmmm. Perhaps the Jacklins have called in the reinforcements. That's the session Paul Jacklin is playing.

The 2 x 10 tables suddenly booked for that session are nowhere near each other, so one of them will be theirs, dunno about the other :)

Dave Whitcombe on the Fanatics page has said he knows 7 of the ticket holders for Sunday afternoon and apparently they can no longer make it. Oh dear.

Think Whitcombe must be mistaken, one of the 8 is that Andrew Dougan bloke who is going for every session, and another one only booked up every single session this week, so that only leaves 6.

The people watching the stage will be more familiar than the people on it.

There were more people than this at the corresponding session of the UK Open where the military had the entire town in lockdown.

All right the BDO is shit. But I refuse to believe they will have a Saturday afternoon session in front of 2 fucking people.
That's the quarterfinals right?

It appears they excelled themselves with this one but it gets worse. It's still a GSoD qualifier!

I think we've realised by now that for attracting even vaguely decent numbers of paying customers to big stage events in this country, all the BDO in its current form have is Lakeside the venue, and even the WDT that was held there in 2016 supposedly lost a 5-figure sum. The future's bright.
