Antony May Barry you don't run the sport just because you have money. The BDO is the real darts because the respect that is shown to the dart thowers is great and please the BDO backs the women's game. All you are bothered about is money and sexy ladies bringing the players to the stage.
The BDO respects all of its players not just the ones who make the money.
Barry Hearn you are a disgrace

Can MH cast his accounting eye over this and work out how much the Channel 4 skim fee may have been?

Impossible with only an abbreviated balance sheet to go on. Other creditors is interesting as it's a material amount but could be anything from loans to deposits received.

Bottom line is the insolvent positioned worsened over the year which means they turned in another loss

Extra £83k going through the books though, no? Given they have done fuck all else it must have been £80k (20% of 400k)????

That's an assumption based on a cash balance mate which is covered by the increase in Other Creditors. I doubt very much C4 paid £400k for Lakeside

Fucking unbelievable, couldn't be made up.

The Winmau winner sacks of Lakeside for Ally Pally which is a fucking insult to the BDO. Fails at Q School and retains his BDO ranking and eligibility for the BDO tour.

Fatton has been loyal although misguided for many years, has a peek on the other side and is wiped from the BDO immediately.

"We only want consistency"

The top 4 is grim as fuck.
2020 World Grand Prix Lucky Dip winner!
2x 2019 Q-School Lucky Dip winner!

Both as valuable as the Lakeside piss pot!

Interesting move from Des Jacklin; get elected as spokesperson for a group of un-named counties (whilst still on the BDO board I believe) calling for an EGM but won't reveal details as to the agenda....

EMail taken from a Facebook page

Dear all,

It is my duty to inform you that a formal request has been made by certain individual Counties for the BDO to hold an EGM.

In order for this to happen protocol and proper procedure has to be followed, by this I mean a certain number of Counties has to be involved, time has to be given to the board of directors to respond before a date and time with agenda can to be set.

I am aware that many of you will have questions and concerns, and for that purpose I am willing to speak to anyone that feels the need of conversation, however, protocol must be followed and full information will only be available at the EGM.

I have been appointed as the official spokesman for the Counties that have made the application, and as soon as I have further details I will inform you all.

Yours Faithfully

Chairman Lincolnshire

Des Jacklin
