Countless muppets brought in and given various levels of influence over the last few years who oversaw or caused enormous damage. Whatever the pompous amateurs' anxieties about it at the time, how much worse could things actually be today had they said yay to Baz in the first place?
Cuz if you comb through the minutes of that meeting, you'll probably find that their fears about what Baz might do to them are now in the process of coming true anyway, via years of absolute carnage rather than order.

All they've retained is a declining Lakeside and the Winmau now a sorry reminder of what it used to be.Rogg wrote:The greatest superhero of all.M H wrote:Then went on to hail the "New Era" brought about by the astounding business man Warren BrownRogg wrote:Ha, well those of us who remember his use of social media over the last couple of years have some privileged access to the likely scale of the incoming fallout.

I reckon under Uncle Barry the Winmau would have thrived

Yes the old old Winmau Masters has become a terrible sadness but it remains a wonderful concept, like a worldwide version of the UK Open. We like that.

In it's original state was brilliant but it's far from that now sadly. Will be streamed mid week on Winmau TV, am sure Uncle Barry would have restored it to where it belongsRogg wrote:Yes the old old Winmau Masters has become a terrible sadness but it remains a wonderful concept, like a worldwide version of the UK Open. What genius booked it for the middle one of the week?
Cash reserves must be dwindling now.

They have copied the stuff from the Lakeside website which also says 54. It's either 56 or fucking none.Rogg wrote:Holyshit. "The world's top 54 professional darts players..."

oh yeah Ginge. Hopeless. That website has the same logo saying 'The home of British darts' and 'The home of World darts' within 10cm of each other.
And that fb page still can't find a shot of the stage that doesn't have BBC logos plastered all over it. At least Fabrizio Ravanelli isn't in it I suppose.

None of the world's top 54 would be more accurate.

The Lakeside championships have enjoyed having the biggest TV audiences for darts anywhere in the world.
