Sky should do something like the WWE Network. People should be offered Sky's entire darts coverage history at their fingertips for a subscription. It should be the same for all sports, especially Premier League football. It will then start reducing the subscription fees for Sky Sports.

It will, but if he's serious about retiring completely then he won't be needing it. Hands in his card, disappears from the rankings and his spot on tour would be squirted into q-school.

If he keeps his card, we can assume he wants to play next year's Sky ranking events, and he'd be entitled to. But he probably has exhibitions booked that clash with most of them by now. His diary for next year is packed.
