Women's game is an issue no doubt as it certainly has a smaller following as well as the standard issue. I still think the BDO had a product to market that has some value. Just not convinced the sucking up 3 or 4 days of 6 to 8 hours of coverage is the way to go. Thinking more along the lines of Two days a couple hours prefaced by a highlight show how we got to qrtrs for e.g. The value of entire events for BDO are seriously damaged imho therefore time for them to do something new that can give them revenues not only in the UK market.

On this point you are wrong, the general public have no knowledge of the BDO and therefore don't seek out tickets for BDO events.

It's all over for the BDO as a product that TV companies are willing to pay for. Their only saving grace is the deal they have with Channel 4 to show Lakeside. That deal is a comedown from their BBC deal though, signalling the downward trend. There's no guarantee that Channel 4 are in it for the long haul either. How long before Lakeside ends up off FTA?
