Viper X-Treme Correct Voltage help?!
Hello,
So I bought a Viper X-Treme dartboard. It won't respond (looks dead) with a 5V, 500mA power supply.
On the outside of the box it says 5V, 500mA power supply included.
Inside the box it came with a 9V, 500mA power supply.
The manual says 5V, 500mA power supply.
The sticker next to the plug on the board says 5V, 500mA.
So I bought a 5V, 500mA supply and the BOARD DOES NOT WORK. I could use the 9V power supply that was in the box, but I don't want to fry the board.
So, please tell me WHAT POWER DOES THE BOARD REALLY NEED??!?! I am after anyone who actually has this board if they can please look at their power supply and tell me the output of it and what the sticker next to where you plug it into the board says.
Thanks in advance,
Regards,
Simon

First advice: Do not buy an electronic board. They are shite.
Second: Use the 9V stuff which came with your board. If it doesn't work, or destroys your board, complain at the manufacturer or your retailer.

Have you tried asking on a proper geeky darts forum full of virgins, like thedartsforum.co.uk ?pilotsh wrote:Hello,

With this one sentence you single-handedly redefined the concept of 'moderator'.M H wrote:Cunt who started this thread reported this post for being off topic among other things, guess how much notice was taken?M H wrote:All's great mate, never better to be honest.
