It's true that MVG can't be blamed just because he's outstanding from the current field. It should be up to the other players to reach his level. But it's sickening to see only one guy (who's a total cunt in person) grabbing up 80% of the titles. So yes I'm sick of the grinning bald cunt.

imo he wont have a taylor style run of things as the rhythm lot will have some epic battles with him over the next few years. It's just getting those lads onto the stage from the floor that's the problem.

He won't as the Worlds is a prime example. Best player no doubt but beatable

Offcourse I am not sick of MVG. He is my favorite player. But it would be good if other players would win sometimes aswell. It would be good for the game if Taylor wins the Champions League of darts for example.

It's up to other players to stop Michael van Gerwen, and they need to step up and get serious about it. In 2013, Adrian Lewis was neck and neck with MvG. Compare that to now. Gary Anderson does step it up on occasion, and delivers against MvG most times when he does. In much of 2016, Phil Taylor seems to be facing MvG quite a lot compared to 2015 and is losing the vast majority of those, but more of the younger guys should be stepping up against MvG now.

Can't get sick of seeing darts played to the highest standard, however it would be nice if someone consistently challenged him. Taylor hasn't got it anymore, Lewis is a lazy fat fuck,Anderson has given him a lot of trouble but often gets beaten by someone else before he gets far enough to take him on. Wade is the only other one who doesn't shit himself but again he's not consistent enough.

I agree, can't stand his antics but the standard to which he plays consistently is phenomenal only Taylor has ever done the same. I blame the others for not stepping up. same as when Taylor was at his best, the other lads just aren't good enough consistently to challenge him. The fact that he hasn't hoovered the World Title up every year has also kept him just about bearable in my eyes too as it's been funny as fuck watching the look on his face the last couple of years when he's lost at Ally Pally.
