Fortunately I didn't see that because if I did I would have gouged my eyes out with a screw driver. I am not a big fan of American dart players in general but the love that Widmayer gets boggles my mind. Just the result of desperation for Americans to hang their rooting hat on someone in the red white and blue. The guy just isn't that good. His league play is about what he brings to the stage and both are not what I would call world class or even a decent county standard.

The lack of tv coverage could give the bdo the perfect excuse to hand pick their "dream eight" and we all know who that is.

I'm convinced that there'll be a number of wildcard picks involved this time. That's not going to be good.

Im expecting nothing but carnage with the BDO old guard and the PDC floor lot taking up half the spots!

They would have to find some way to keep it a little bit unique. Totally change the format or something. I would watch one leg of 3001 for each match.

legs like 1001 and 3001 would see obviously even higher averages as more efforts at 180 plus more scoring visits

I would have kept things reasonably humane, cleaning the gun and such, but then someone picked Hankey. All bets are now off.
