Look at how a couple of years ago both beaton and part won a euro event....with the likes of taylor and lewis missing, that 20k first prize at the time got those players into every major for the remainder of the year.

Bow putting aside any personal dislike for those players, it is right however a winner of a euro comp should get access to the other events

True. Until October last year Norris was struggling as much as James Wilson and Robbie Green to make money in the PDC. That pro tour win gave him a leg up. He has pulled well clear of the Job squad. Joe Murnan hasn't taken as good an advantage out of his pro tour win.

At the time I would have thought it was a great line-up, but looking back, disgusting. Goes to show the progress that has been made since, with the Euro players espexially given good seats, on which note thankfully the orgs never merged or the PDC worlds have been swamped with extra northern cloggers hanging on for dear life. We'd still be trying to get rid of Garry Thompson.

Jones had a great run on TV in the second half of 2010. He made the semis at his home evnt the GSOD, the final of the Euros and a couple of other quarter finals.

Lloyd hung around long enough to give goblin era MVG a decent game at the Matchplay about 2-3 years ago.
