Zuiderduin Masters Line Up

Line-up for 2011 Zuiderduin Masters

The line-up for the 2011 Zuiderdiun Masters to be played at the Hotel Zuiderduin, Egmond aan Zee, The Netherlands from 9th to 11th December has now been finalised - with 24 of the world’s top men players, 6 of the top women players and 6 oustanding youth players completing the impressive field.

The top 8 Men’s Seeds are:

1: Dean Winstanley (Eng)
2: Gary Robson (Eng)
3: Robbie Green (Eng)
4: Willy van de Wiel (Neth)
5: John Walton (Eng)
6: Tony O’Shea (Eng)
7: Tony West (Eng)
8: Ross Montgomery (Scot)

The other invited players are:

9 Alan Norris (Eng)
10 Jan Dekker (Neth)
11 Scott Mitchell (Eng)
12 Steve Douglas (Eng)
13 Fabian Roosenbrand (Neth)
14 Martin Adams (Eng)
15 Joey ten Berge (Neth)
16 Benito van de Pas (Neth)

Because Jan Dekker is MariFlex Open Men’s Singles Champion 2011 there is a place to be filled with another wildcard.

In the Women’s Masters, Deta Hedman (Eng) is the No 1 Seed and Irina Armstrong (Russia) is No.2.

Anastasia Dobromyslova (Russia) receives an invitation as winner of the Mariflex Open Women’s Singles. The remaining three places will go to the winner of the Champions League of Darts and there will be two wild cards.

Mike Zuydwijk is the first youth player with an invitation. He won the MariFlex Open Boys event. The winner of the Champions League of Darts will receive an invite and 4 players will receive wild cards.

The NDB have invited two men, one from the Dutch rankings and one from the National team. The four remaining places in the Men’s Masters and two in the Women’s Masters will be filled with wildcards given by the organization.

Youth players receive their invitations by winning the Champions League of Darts and the International Open Darts MariFlex for boys. The others are invited with a wildcard.

Traditionally the tournament will start with 8 Groups of 3 players, with a seeded player in each group.

24 places for the men ?
Is it round robin or will some have to play an extra match ??
same applies for the women and youths ?

suspect hankey will get one of the wildcards

Hanky I'd say is a definate and there's eight groups of three

The women is 2 groups of 3. So they get rid of 2 women and in the end it will be the same number of matches.

Youth is a knockout I think.
Big changes on the way ! We've heard it before but it's different this time !!!! , I believe Bdo gonna grow x
