So Scotland shat it and vote No.
Cameron who lets face it won't be the leader of the tories for much longer has already started to renege on his extra powers offer. Milliband is a fuckwit and Clegg, well he would sell his granny for a bit of power and a wee glimpse of the limelight.
Last night, the pro-unionist celebrate in Glasgow city centre by burning saltires, giving nazi salutes and giving it the usual forms of violent triumphalism.
Today, Glasgow is being beset by an Orange Walk, this is 2014 not 1690.
The demographic shows that the elderly were the ones who have left us as a joke country of the world and we will now either be called North England or just an English colony.
I am proud to say that I am one of the 1.6M who was brave, i can sing Flower of Scotland without a brass neck. I can say i was born and bred in Glasgow and i am now proud to live in West Dunbartonshire, 2 areas who were brave enough to say Yes.

Still would have been a huge fuck up if the yes camp won Jock, you don't realise how lucky you got

We are fucked now, promises already broken, a government we do not want, the possibility of a UKIP/TORY coalition, an EU referendum were the Scottish vote will be irrelevant.
We knew that going independent wouldn't be easy, the roads weren't paved with gold and it wasn't a land of milk and honey.
Whilst the 3 parties were celebrating in 5 star hotels drinking Champagne and eating caviar, a good percentage of people in Scotland are going to food banks just to survive.
Thw only time you ever see Westminster parliament with a full turn out is when they are discussing their own pay rise. 11% this year when the rest of the country either gets a pay freeze or 1% at best.
Scotland is fucked.

My North Lanarkshire area also voted. We should get Dundee on board & start our own country

It would have been tough MH but decisions would have been made by a government we voted for & any mistakes would've been ours to make. Instead we have a Tory government who couldn't give a toss about us up here unless it's to try something out on us like Poll Tax. I firmly believe the first 5-10 years would've been very difficult & it would be my generation who would suffer but my vote was for my son & other like him as I firmly believe in the long term we would be much better off but sadly I'm back now to having a meaningless vote in a gutless region (no point saying country as declined that opportunity)

No currency for a start, I can't see where a country would go from there let alone the other losses

Does it really make a difference?
We have a bunch of sycophants who enthusiastically implement the EU/IMF policy of austerity on their own people, while willingly paying back private bank debt that had nothing to do with us in the first place.
Irish, Scottish or English, most politicians are self serving and don't really give a fuck about the rest of us.
One year I got a bike for my birthday. So I went peddling off down the road and knocked an old lady down.
'Can't you ring your bell?' She said. 'I can ring my bell,' I said 'But I can't ride my bike'

Without the backing of the Bank of England would have been a disaster for Scotland. Scotland's borrowing rate would have been similar to Greece if they could borrow at all.

No way mate. The BoE could never agree to underwriting the Scottish economy without the backing of Parliament and that backing wouldn't come unless Parliament were given control of Scottish economic policy.
Therefore no Scottish independence after all

I voted no.
The problem for the yes camp were that junkies, lay abouts, 16/17 year olds without a clue, left wing students don't add up to a majority of the Scottish Population. Quite a few voting yes for the "buzz" of it the "atmosphere"..types who were at George square or the Kelvingrove Park pissup a few years back..bandwagon jumpers who think it's the latest cool/groovy thing to do based on what they see on social media, but social media in the end it showed, meant fuck all, but for a hard working family with kids that doesn't pay the bills or keep them in a job like a strong United Kingdom does.
The low turnout in Dundee and Glasgow really hurt them, and in general the no vote was severely underestimated in several places, like Inverclyde and Clackmannanshire.
The referendum looks likely to have ended up my relationship with my bird too. Shes a staunch yes and I'm at the otherside. Tbh shes been starting to get on my tits anyway.
