THE launch of Grand Slam of Darts tickets has seen record numbers of fans securing their place at the Wolverhampton Civic Hall in November.
Monday saw tickets for the nine-day tournament, featuring 32 top darts players, went on general sale on Monday, a week after subscribers to the PDC's official website were able to purchase tickets.
Following the first day of general sale, almost 7,000 tickets have been snapped up by darts-hungry fans, who will flock to the Wolves Civic from November 12-20.
Tickets for the floor tables have sold out on the opening night on Saturday November 12 as well as in the evenings of Friday November 18 and Saturday November 19, with only a limited number of balcony tickets remaining.
Tickets for the other sessions continue to sell strongly, with both afternoon and evening sessions on sale on Sunday November 13, Saturday November 19 and Sunday November 20, which will feature the semi-finals and final.
Each weekday sees evening sessions only, as the 32 players initially compete in eight four-player groups before the top two progress to the knockout last 16 from Thursday onwards.

I dont have the same enthusiasm at the moment for this now it's on SKY and less BDO players to if thats the case.
