I have a liking for scalloped barrels and micro grip, have tried many types but have never been totally happy with their set-up / flight performance from my paw. The micro grip on this dart is in the scalloped area, right where it's needed for once. The shaft needs to be heavy to suit my throw. Fortunately I have always liked the Harrows Magnet shafts, which are heavy, they also allow the flight to move when hit by an incoming dart, thus reducing the incidence of deflections/bounce-outs which is why I like them over traditional fixed positioned shafts.
By removing the pink paint using paint stripper, I've now turned the Girly darts into some Manly 24gm which shall now be renamed HE MANZ.
Suppose the name is appropriate considering they are made in NZ.
