The real enquiry should be into the police and other authorities that covered up Saville's offences when they were first reported years ago.

I've no doubt that Roach and DLT copped a feel and abused their fame at the time like a load of others but none of it is provable now. Unless they plead guilty like Stuart Hall it's a waste of time and public money.

What I find strange is that all 3 cases (DLT, Bill Roche and Rolf Harris), are being held at the same time.

I reckon Harris will go down because he has images and the other two will get off.

The CPS will say one out of three aint bad!

It all may have happened back then but it's still only he said she said. No way it can be proved beyond reasonable doubt

I can understand it being pushed to get a guilty plea but when that plea doesn't come it's time to give up

surely in the absence of anything beyond one persons word against another the judge should throw it out.

I don't think a judge can mate if the case has been referred. He can only sum up on the evidence he's heard and comment after the jury deliver the verdict

Haven't seen anything yet that's likely to get a guilty verdict.
