My warranty runs out this month so I'm hoping for a new box.

All fixed, apparently some useless cunt didn't rewire it up properly when their wife was nagging them to move the TV to another area of the living room.

It was wired up correctly but the cable meant the connectors didn't fit too well and had become loose, sky box requires two signals hence the two wires. It only had one.

It's got another 3 months warranty now and got the contact number direct to the engineer, so worth it in the end.
