Re: The Completely Useless Information Thread
a nice looking old chap gaz, do they make a house dog or just outdoors? what kind of dog would make a good house dog if trained? had terriers all me life but would like a bigger dog, collies look nice, any recommendations? one of my terriers had to be put down recently and the other is on his last legs so i'm keeping a eye out, i dont really want to intrude on the old boys space till he has passed on

Re: The Completely Useless Information Thread
the collie is the smartest of all dogs...officially, but also the breed most handed into shelters as they are a lot of work, they need a lot of exercise, and without constant stimulationthey can be destructive, they need lots of walking so if living in an apartment or a lazy fucker not the dog for you.
By the nature a placid dog , very protective and greatest dog ever for relations with other dogs, humans and other animals.
The GS will be the same as the collies, have free range of the house, once fully house trained, the collies learned right away but the GS is a smart breed as well.
My only worry will be the walking, as its hard to walk the 2 collies as one of them is constantly pulling in his quest to be in front, and even with the harnesses my wife cannot walk one let alone two, this third fella when he is up for longer walks might be ok like one of the collies but fear the other collie will see this as a reason to drag harder to lead as he is the dominant dog, although the smaller of the 2 collies and will soon be smaller the the GS.

There's a couple of GS's get over the park where I walk Ruby and both are fantastic animals. One lets her take it's stick and the other doesn't know what to make of her when she's winding it up for a chase game.

have to head into the city centre, this is the second time this year, far too often for my liking, bucketing down rain, gale force winds and in no form for this , but must be done.

Am watching Parliament at the moment and there's an MP, Richard Bacon whinging about how pork is farmed in EU countries. Surely there's better and more important things they could turn their attention to?
