My bank thinks it's OK to vanish 7.5k from my accounts and not say a word

We had that. Just because we hadn't used it for a while. They decided to close the account with a couple thousand on it.
Unbelievable.

7.5k has vanished from one of my savings accounts
I rang to ask wtf is going on.
Apparently they've put me a cheque in the post with a letter to explain it.
You can call me, you can email me, you can message me on the app. You can do something
I'm so not impressed

Was it an account you've not used in a long time? That seems really bizarre.

It's a fixed rate account I use once a year just to put 20k in tax free.
I literally haven't touched it since October

They reckon I've over subscribed.
Which I haven't
I put 20k in once a year in October that's it
It literally tells you on the app what you can save and when
Even if they have some justification you don't minus 7.5k and not say anything
I paid some cash into another account so was only logging in to make sure it was there and noticed the other account which only ever has round numbers ie multiples of 20 in had some random number

My first 'proper job' was in a bank. They are unrecognisable now to back then (early 90s).
Customers are no longer part of the equation. If you don't like the way they have set stuff up then fuck you.

The guy I spoke to said he understood my anger but that's just how the system is set up.
Any which way you look at it I've lost the interest on the amount they've removed as the window has closed fo put money Into it even of they subsequently find they are in error.

Nope
First time I've missed it.
I didn't renew this season prices went silly so said enough was enough. So couldn't get a ticket.
Still debating weather to get it back next season. Not going to lie I've missed it despite still going to 7 aways

I tried calling the police but after 5 minutes on hold the phone went dead. The station is 5 minutes from me so I dropped in. The guy on the desk, who looked about 12 said he would see if the address had any previous reports "when he got a minute"
I was literally the only person in there
Nobody came out that I saw
She's probably dead by now
