Noppert has been poor lately but who cares. Gian being there is amazing news.

You must dislike the Dutch then.

Their team just got stronger.

Just makes it easier for team Luke and also opens up a bigger opportunity for a grand slam place for some randomers

MvG is still my favourite player despite his form loss.

Fair enough. You are a principled man to keep supporting your favourites through thick and thin.

Or not.

Van Veen is arguably as good as MVG right now.

Is it just a regular singles qualifier?
3 singles events will make an OoM and the top 2 will represent India. There are twittery: https://x.com/IDC_DartsIndia

Think it was the same last year. Good for them to have 3 events.

Kumar is the favourite but also watch out for Bhav Patel, Amit Glitwala and Rohid Rabadia.

No chance I spelled all those names right.

This will be the third time MVG has missed the World Cup since his debut. 2022 & 2023 the Dutch team was Noppert & Dirk.

In all 3 years Noppert was the 2nd highest ranked Dutch player. But they did partner up 2 times in 2020 & 2024. They didn't reach the semis on either occasion.

I hope we get European qualifiers at some point for the World Cup. I like the way Asia and the Caribbean/South America do it. Any country without an invited pair should be eligible to enter. Be cracking to see 2 lads from San Marino giving it a go

100% it should already exist. Nordic and a Baltic now at least have them. Should also be seperate regional ones for other parts of Europe.

Pathetic just handing out spots to European nations that do not have current tour card holders.

Gibraltar, Hungary, Italy, Spain and Switzerland have all just been handed places. Give those places out via qualifiers instead.
Team Corvid 2025 consists of the following 12 players.

Clayton, Littler, Gilding, De Sousa, Wright, Evans, Campbell, Scutt, Lauby, Rob Owen, Patrick Geeraets and Justin Hood.

MVG dropping out also means the Netherlands will have to start in the group stage.

Northern Ireland promoted to 4th seed.
