Bond has never interested me. I've seen maybe 3 of them. Nothing before Brosnan.

Connery was good, not so keen on Moore

Saturday 18th April 1992.

Oh The 'Burbs. I've seen that film. Tom Hanks. Its uk tv premiere on BBC1 at 6.55pm. That's a nice idea for Easter viewing.

ITV has a Kojak at the sociable hour of 3.45am.

Channel 4 has an evening of 1950s television.

Nor me.

There is further Bob Monkhouse on Channel 4 at 8.45pm as part of their 50s telly night. Double Bob that day.

Here is a bit of the mysterious Bob's Your Uncle:

An interesting comment in the comments. A peek behind the curtain.

'I was in the studio audience for this.... it was recorded months before broadcast, so for the topical jokes Bob did some improvised topical stuff in front of us, then recorded some topical stuff on the day in an empty studio and it was cut together with some wide shots of us laughing.

As for the rest of the show, we saw the final round only recorded multiple times with different couples and had to pretend to be excited about couples we had no knowledge of. It was great to be in Studio 7 at Lenton Lane though.'
