The Stawell Gift is Australia's most prestigious Handicap Sprint race over 120 Metres by the way. The Women's heats have just started, Men's to follow. The Semis and Finals are on Monday.

And Gout Gout is the Australian 200m record holder, not Merv King's latest ailment.
