Well?

Is it the country that has been absolutely desperate for success still having to settle for their best players being one hit wonders or long term chokers?

Or is it the gender where if you took the avgs of their 2024 matchplay and swapped them with their 2002 world championship, you wouldnt be able to tell the difference?

Well Germany has had a couple of Euro Tour winners in the last couple of years.

Women's series currently has Lisa Ashton at number 2, Fallon has stagnated/declined, and when you look at the averages of the rest of the top 10 their probably isn't much of an increase compared to the top 10. If it wasn't for Beau it would be dogshit

German darts has moved forward a little bit in the last 10 years. Schindler, pikachu, hopp, Clemens are definitely an improvement on artut, welge etc. Women's darts is also in a better place than 10 years ago although that's pretty much down to Beau at the minute. If you take her out women's darts is the answer for now

Note to Malt and DFC you can't just take Beau out. It's unfair.

Imagine judging Portuguese darts ignoring De Sousa or pole vault without Duplantis. Makes no sense!

How would you describe Portuguese darts in general with Jose?

I'm saying that women's darts without Beau doesn't appeal to the masses, the standard is getting better all the time but it's not moving particularly quickly

Fair enough. It will never be a huge product on its own. But I think as dart forumers we have to look beyond what the masses think and support it. Debate about the standard is fine but it hurts me when people just call it shit.

Regarding Portuguese darts it's not much but there are a couple decent prospects. Araujo and Camacho obviously. And Marques was good a few years ago.

Imagine comparing a nation to one person

But let's have it your way

1 world title to zero
1 PDC TV title to zero
