The year they scrapped the 11 plus we had to stay an extra year at middle school before going to the big school. I didn't mind as we only lived around the corner. The pupils were graded accordingly A, B, C. The following year came the invasion with one of our classes being filled with anyone not white. England welcomed the world to class C
