Cheltenham Festival Comp 2025

Hope this is ok to post in the comps thread.

So you need to pick one winner per race for all races for all 4 days of the festival.

The prizes are:
1st place: Euros 30
2nd place Euros 20
3rd place Euros 10

Entry is free.

The Rules

Points for each race will be:
1st place = 50 points + bonus points for starting price.
2nd place = 30 points
3rd place = 10 points

*Winning odds of
1/100 – evens = 1pt
11/10 – 2/1 = 2pts
9/4 – 3/1 = 3pts
and so on i.e 33/1 = 33pts

Only the first three places are awarded points regardless of the number of runners.
Your selections need to be named and put in racecard order.
In the event of a non runner or withdrawn horse your selection will be substitiuted for the Starting Price Favourite. In the event of joint favourites you will be awarded 50% of the points won and for triplicated favourites, a third of the points won, and so on.

In the event of a tie, winning positions will be decided by these factors in this order-
1st preference = Number of winners
2nd preference = Winnings to a mythical £1 level stake.
3rd preference = there isn't one you will split the winnings
