I am not Dave as I keep telling you and no idea if he did or not, I was thinking of going to one with a couple of the lads from our dart team this weekend but dont want to go if it is a shit show like the UK open qualifiers were so was trying to see entry numbers and what format was played etc before deciding if I go or not.

I think one of the events was in Harlow, but I’m not sure where the other one was either. If anyone else knows, feel free to share

Rileys Chorlton have advertised that the winner of each and every qualifier is GUARANTEED £1000 regardless of the amount of entrants so amazed that no details of last weekends winners have emerged

Seems to be an absolute shitshow in promoting it.

CEO and Operations Manger of Riley's have made contact with me today and I will be looking after the Coventry qualifier, Riley's have money in the pot as they are using cash which was allocated for the UK Open qualifiers which they are not associated with this year, the amazing thing is that the winner of every qualifier is GUARANTEED £1000, Both Harlow and Victoria last weekend were poorly attended to say the least yet the winner of both received £1000, the losing finalist received £80 and the SF both received £40, Solihull is coming up this Sunday with 16 players entered at the moment which is more than attended both Harlow and Victoria last weekend, the cut off date for entries for Solihull via the website is officially 5pm tomorrow but the Ops Manager is looking to extend the cut off until midnight, The winner of any qualifier is more than welcome to enter any remaining qualifiers so could win a few grand before the finals are even played on 9th Feb.

At the end of the day when was the last time you had the opportunity to win £1000 for £10 outlay with such a small field, no tour card holders are allowed to enter, however there is a strict dress code in place at every qualifier.

As in previous years the Riley's website seems to have a few bugs when it comes to accepting payment so I am again authorised to accept direct payment if you do face payment issues.

That was my thought, surely 2 evenly matched finalists would agree to share the £1080 before playing the final

How silly are rileys basically throwing money away when they couldnt afford to keep half their clubs open.

Winners last weekend and pocketing a grand each were Daniel Sare at Harlow and Edgar Znutins at Victoria.
