The record peak for many years was the Taylor-Anderson final (2015), and this year was more than double that lol. So that gives some perspective.

But it's still not as high as last year's, which is likely to be the record forever at around 3.7 million.

The average audience per session on Sky was 471k, compared to 391k last year.

Considering last year Littler made the final on debut, its impressive that this year got so close to those figures when he’s more of a known quantity

It was Sky Sports' biggest non-football audience since the previous world darts final.

It seems the F1 British Grand Prix was the highest non-football/darts show in that period of time, and that was half a million short of last week's darts final.

No wonder Sky love Football Dartsmas, it’s like their Christmases have come early (or late if you will!)
