Really annoying that they are in the same half of the draw for the World's.
PDC will be absolutely gutted too. Be easily the biggest final in terms of what it means since Taylor vs Barney if after this calendar year they met each other
It wa of course already certain to be the biggest money spinner regardless of finalists, the game is hot right now
Why do they always have it as 1 v 4 and 2 v 3? It doesn't have to be that way. They could mix it up so it could be 1 v 3 and 2 v 4.

Sounds more prestigious because it is more prestigious.

Why should they? The rankings change all the time. Best not to confuse everyone.
The truth, however ugly in itself, is always curious and beautiful to seekers after it.

For me, i’d do away with seeding altogether. Not a fan of it regardless of game or sport.
byes are also fucking nonsense as well - everybody should start at the same level and play the same number of games. Whats the point in having a qualifier from Karachi if he has to play somebody first match of the night then play a seed on the same night or the day after? if that game goes the distance he’s knackered physically and emotionally. Just an easy lay up for some seed somewhere

These two are fantastic. Great to watch and have the fans absolutely in the palm of their hand. What a time for the game
Just needs wadey joining on the fun by winning majors again, only a matter of time hopefully.
Been a few times this year Wadey has played magnificent against good competition only to have an off game against some jobber. Can’t remember the details but sure I remember a comp not long ago (maybe the slam ?) where everybody thought it was Wadeys to win based on wverybody else not having won anything yet but he went out in a rather poor showing.
If he can handle the jobbers the way he’s handled the better players he can win something next year. Never ever write wadey off
He lost to mike de jobber before he became Mike De winner, wattijobber and nutcase menzies in the 3 majors before this one when the draw had opened up in a few of them, the loss to jobber Burton in this one probably the worst of the bunch though.
I'll keep supporting him though mate, no worries.
As distraught as I am about the loss in this comp which was frankly inexcusable, that last bit was never in doubt in my mind not for a single second

Thought Humphries played great. Littler is an amazing talent, and they are now seeded to play in the Wotld Championship Semi Final, but have to say not enough people realise that Luke Humphries is still the best player in the world.
Maybe foolishness, but I do think Humpy is a bit vulnerable. certainly not as dominant as people thought he would be when he finally cracked a title. he hasn’t for example taken everything. Though he also hasn’t dropped off a cliff like bully boy has.
At the moment I reckon anybody could win the worlds. You’ll be happy to know I include “Floor warrior” Gando in that one
I agree with you. No guarantee either of the Lukes will win the WC, and would not be in the least surprised if Gary won it. Have to say though I expected Humphries to beat Littler tonight, as despite the young man playing exceptionally well, he is vulnerable when being put under pressure like both De Decker and Anderson did in the Grand Slam last week.
Really looking forward to the WC starting and think there will be multiple upsets right throughout the tournament.

He kept his worst display for the final but it was mostly the first 5 legs still another great event for the old looking youngster and a great learning experience for him.

That's not really what happened. The first session was utter garbage by both and he was 4-1 down. The rest of it was fairly evenly matched orgasmic viewing.
