It can be considered from many different perspectives. I'm sure we will do it.

Already looking forward to dogdirt first round matches that will reach levels of badness we havent seen since the abolishment of the prelim round.

And since the top guns are in it they will be long format unlike the old prelims

I crave knowledge of how big the extra chunk of pro tour qualifiers will be. It's going to be a huge boost for players like Mario, Berry and Buttons who ended up on the fringes this time.

16 Pro Tour and 16 International it's only fair
Both avenues will have some less desirable players
For international I suggested splitting Africa and CLDC into 2. Nordic and CDC extra spots obviously.
Most importantly South Europe qualifier should be restored.

How on earth will it even work? Give the pro tour qualifiers seedings 33-64? Make the first round a non tc only shitfest and then have the pro tours enter in R2 and the seeds in R3? Its going to be a pathetic display.

Re: The Future of the PDC World Championship
I agree. 64 would be ideal but 96 is fine

Knowing the pdc, the pro tours will stay the same and the 33-48 oom ranked will get in. Worst of all worlds.

It's excellent news for the lower ranked card holders you claim to care about so much.

Hearn does not say that. Only the sun. Who are of course talking out their arse. The Thorn wrote: ↑Tue Nov 19, 2024 7:22 pmIt's a flat 128 draw
A flat draw would deminish the value of the tc if the pro tour #1 can just be killed off by one of the top guns in R1. It wont happen.
