Fucking mental the way comms were talking about the two finalists. Wattajobber in particular it was as though he’d done well to qualify for the tourney let alone make it to the final.

BDO-esque and reminiscent of that time the BDO twitter account said scott mitchell “should get past labanauskas” easily or something like that and then Darius handed his arse to him.

the line should have been hyping up the fact that two relative unknowns handed the OOM top brass an absolute slapping and if Wattajobber will now crack on and qualify for more comps and go deep and even win trophies.

When it was sky favourites krusty and Price winning a trophy after years of jobbing on the circuit it was “the floodgates are opened” and “they’ll win more trophies now”

PDC have their favourites and if they aren’t careful they’re going to wind up regretting it.

I don’t watch the WGP cos the formats fucking stale but to anybody who did, did the comms say anything like the below

“Mike de Decker done good for himself winning the competition… a relatively unknown slays the raining world champion… shame he’s a fucking useless cunt who was lucky to qualify and will never win anything again”

Mardle was noticeably downbeat that De Decker won but he got good airtime and a long interview with confetti.

ITV production is always so anticlimactic imo and if you aren't in the top 8, they're disgusted at the mere thought of you winning. See Noppert winning the UK Open, didn't even get an interview. At least Sky have their promos to add to the spectacle. It feels bigger

Two times back to back world champion a floor warrior
Got to keep his posting gimmick up. I can respect that.
Might be wrong here but pretty sure Crow called 10-5 Edhouse in the comp spot on
I did indeed and you were the only other one to have him as the winner. Utter delusion on behalf of the others thinking. He would make a TV ranking semi for the first time in 3 years
Gary's record in the TV Ranking Majors this year:

UK Open Last 16

Martin Lukeman (100.33) 10 (19) 5 (102.57) Gary Anderson

World Matchplay Last 32

Michael Smith (102.08) 10 (19) 5 (98.97) Gary Anderson

Michael went on to be a losing Semi-Finalist

World Grand Prix(Double Start) Last 16

Mike de Decker (95.74) 3 (7) 0 (87.69) Gary Anderson

Mike de Decker goes on to win the tournament.

European Championship Quarter-Final

Richie Edhouse (103.91) 10 (19) 5 (100.90) Gary Anderson

Richie Edhouse goes on to win the tournament.
So one Quarter final AKA pure Floor Warrior form glad you agree mate. He has been one for many years now.

If he doesn’t make the final of any of the last 3 TV ranking events this year that 4 years since he has done so for Floor Warrior Gando and 6 years since he has won one. Yet people still act as if it’s a shock when he losses it amazes me.

Pure floor warrior these days he even admits himself in interviews that he only likes the Pro tours.

A very enjoyable all be it bizarre Euros. Looking at the last 8 I was worried Hump would win it at a canter.

Looking forward to the Grand Slam as I always do. Its my second favourite event after the worlds even if the 8 qualifiers is stupid.

No doubting Hetas floor warrior credentials either mate but even he has done far more than Gando over the last 2 years. A semi and 3 quarters for him in the TV ranking events in that time puts Floor Warrior Gando’s awful record to shame.
