Standard is, erm, ropey to say the least in some of these games, so it might be a while before Sweeting plays again, but apparently he is now through to Ally Pally

Sweeting v Soto in the final

New Zealand qualifier is on. Weird format, I think top 4 have byes to the QFs and 5-16 are playing off in 4 groups of 3

Rogg wrote: Sun Oct 06, 2024 9:26 am Elsewhere, The final NZ tour event happened. Dartconnect is still fuckoed but you can see the bracket: https://tv.dartconnect.com/event/dpnzpt ... kets/61795

Cleaver and Robb both lost in the last 32.

Milne lost in the QF.

Puha won the tournament.

So that means something. There are play-offs tomorrow... for the Worlds spot, or a separate championship?
I read that there are doing the play offs to help Puha
As much as I generally prefer tour winners getting Ally Pally spots rather than knockout event winners, in this case, it’s fair enough as Puha shouldn’t be penalised for earning a tour card
But he should be able to qualify through the PC OOM if he's good enough. If not he has the PDPA qualifier. That should be his 2 chances
This.

I wonder if Perez is going to play the Asian Championship
He can’t as he is in the second year of his TC. You can only qualify via a regional route if your in your first year after that the option is stopped.

Hence why Campbell didn’t get the worlds spot and de Graaf can’t qualify via Nordic and Baltic next year.
Team Corvid 2025 consists of the following 12 players.

Clayton, Littler, Gilding, De Sousa, Wright, Evans, Campbell, Scutt, Lauby, Rob Owen, Patrick Geeraets and Justin Hood.

You can if you’re not in the top 64, I don’t know if the Asian Tour will give Perez an exemption considering he didn’t qualify for it this year
