More to this story than first thought, apparently the Scottish and Welsh FA's didn't give there consent to this statement and are furious.

Just hearing this now on Talksport, why wouldn't they want to be involved in the Olympics?

They fear it would weaken their stance amongst the football world (Fifa)as a nation.

Ahhh, yes I can see that. They're coming from the view if GB can put out an Olympic team there's a case for a GB FA and one united team which would be dominated by England. Makes sense

My preference is a GB Olympic team or no team at all. I also think the Home Nations should stay the same as far as UEFA and FIFA are concerned.
