2025 Premier League

Post by The Thorn » Sun Mar 10, 2024 10:56 pm

Early thoughts? Dimi, Bunting, Heta as possible newbies?

What about Belgium getting a night next year?

ChrisW just made a comment about it in another thread.

As long as people want to discuss it the new thread is warranted.

I'm thinking Luke Humphries might get invited.

I think it's safe to say baring him winning a tv title which looks almost impossible atm he won't be in next year.

Yes actually Bunting in for R.Smudger is preferable.

I was looking at money table but Bunting won the unranked Masters over MVG which is impressive.

- Provisionally top 10 after Ally Pally.

- Won the Masters.

- Cult following on Twitter for which PDC management is aware of.

He does nothing for me, but he is in contention. He will probably have to have a few strong TV runs at the end of the year to make sure.

He hasn't been in the PL for a while and we need fresh faces.

Like Heta or not he is a fresh face, from a different country and best chance to be a debutant.

Others such as R.Smudger and J.Rock are also decent shouts on current form, but the business end of the season will decide the last 2-3 places.

Michael Smith could potentially miss out.

He is only currently 11th in the OOM after Ally Pally and doesn't have a UK Open or Matchplay trophy to draw from.

Price has a stronger case than Smith currently.
