Norbert Attard won the One Day Darts Tournament organized by Ħamrun Bayern at the Malta Football Coaches Association premises. In the final he won against Tony Borg.

Meanwhile Kevin Aquilina and Eucharist Baldacchino finished joint third.

Finally Eucharist Baldacchino registered the highest finish of 158.

Throws dart 2 - marker after a check says out the board
Dart 3 - single 12 - bust

But on approaching for collection home player discovers dart 2 is in double 5
They immediately call it bust
Our lad immediately hits d1 to win leg

Should it have been bust as they called or should they have still won leg anyway?

They did win the leg.

Rule 6.3.10 of DRA Rules 2024.

Any dart or darts mistakenly thrown by a player after scoring the game shot shall not be counted as the respective leg is concluded by the Game Shot.

This has been part of the rules of darts as long as I've known them, and it still astounds me how few people who play darts are aware of it.
