Usyk won by a clear 3-4 rounds. After 6 rounds it felt that Tyson Fury was controlling the fight. But Fury should have been stopped and he took them shots and actually came back stronger in the last few rounds. Judges cards were wild
He didn’t win by 3 or 4 rounds. The first 3 rounds were close and
Could have gone either way. They were stolen rounds, nobody dominated. From 4-6 Fury dominated the rounds and was clearly in the ascendancy. Fury won’t he 7th. Then Usyk took over and Fury won the 12th.
As for the supposed stoppage?
The refs are allowed to give standing 8 counts and after the count a ref ( especially in a big fight ) will ask if a fighter is okay. Fury always kept his eyes on Fury and followed the refs instructions. He proved in the 10th he wasn’t done and continued to be competitive.

Even as he was going down in the 9th he had eyes on usyk, he wasn't gone. Ref should have let usyk finish him.
Has anyone asked him how he lost to a middleweight yet?
Fury never went down.

So usyk should have been allowed to finish him, he had the left hand cooked
Fury blamed the war in Ukraine and that he was winning the fight and had his corner told him otherwise he'd have knocked him out.
Then the video emerges of his corner telling him win the last 2 rounds and you've won the fight

He lost fair and square

The ref gave him a standing count which he is entitled to do. I do agree though that Fury was 1 or 2 punches from getting knocked down. I wouldn’t say out though as Fury has amazing powers of recover as he has shown several times.
Fury won the 12th round on all the judges scorecards.
You only had to look at the reactions before the decision came. Usyk never celebrated. He knew it was close.

Rounds 4-7 weren’t debatable. I thought Fury did enough to Nick it as did 1 judge. I don’t have a problem with the result though. It was a close fight and there will be a clamour for the rematch because of this. If it was a one sided affair then any rematch loses its appeal.

This barrage was worth than anything wilder put on him
He would not have survived those 20 seconds.

7 was debatable
The judge who scored for Fury was the wbc judge
He'd have scored for Fury if he was dead on the floor

My opinion. I didn't score each round but it was basically 50-50 throughout. Knockdown edged it in favour of Usyk so I'd say 2 points in it. Not that I fully embrace this scoring system. What Usyk did to Fury almost finishing him should be worth more than winning 2 closely contested rounds.
I heard on the live broadcast Fury's camp saying he needs the last 2 rounds to win. I think I agreed at the time.
I do believe it was close but a professional judge scoring it to Fury is too far.

Furys brains were too scrambled to hear this crucial information apparently
He thought dancing around with his arms behind his back would catch the judges eye.

Which fight? In all the knockdowns he followed the refs count.

Aye, he’s lost a split decision fight in which he had success and caused Usyk problems like no other fighter has.
There is a rematch clause and both have said they want it. They obviously want the glory, but the huge purse of millions will no doubt help as well.

It is perfectly reasonable to score it 115-112 to Usyk based on him winning 1-3 and 8-11, which I did.

Briedis also ran Usyk close.
If you compared my scorecards for those bouts then they would be similar.
