Seen some posts on Facebook with players sticking up for Deta and saying 'Well done' to her for her actions in Denmark, But when it boils down to it, How many will support her actions when it comes to them having to make the same choice?

One player making a stand is not going to force the hand of those running events or orgs to take action, If there are a large enough group of ladies that oppose it then the only way they have any hope of the situation being looked at and anything done is to take action themselves as a group, Perhaps snub events, All agree to forfeit games should they draw a trans player or perhaps allow the game to go ahead but refuse to throw and instead voice their disagreements until the game is stopped and a tournament official has to step in because they are causing a scene, Not a great way of going about it but it would draw attention to the issue for those at the event and no doubt afterwards on social media etc.

If something is not right in your eyes and you strongly disagree with it then you should cause a song and dance over it, Deta had a quiet word with the tournament official before withdrawing, My opinion is that she should have played merry hell over it if she feels so strongly about it and draw attention to it during the tournament instead of having speculation and mistruth thrown in her direction as a result of her withdrawing at the quarter final stage.

Even if she didn't want to cause a scene then knowing who she was playing, Before withdrawing she could have used her social media channels to state that she was forfeiting her match and gave her reasons and then done it, That way then Barrs wouldn't have been able to cause a shitstorm with speculation and lies.

The craziest part of Deta forfeiting is that she travelled all the way to Denmark, knowing how the seedings were, just to pull out. She still gets ranking points for winning her 1st couple of rounds and would have played all the way through against other players. If she felt that strongly, she shouldn't enter any tournament Noa is involved in
