1. Crowds
2. Euro Tour change
3. Grand Slam qualifiers
4. Denying Beau Greaves and others a chance to play at 2024 Ally Pally
5. Constant demeaning language towards their own fans (keyboard warriors)
6. Posting the GIF during the Reynaldo Rivera game at 2024 Ally Pally

Feel free to add to the list. We could even have a vote to determine a top 10 after we have enough suggestions.
I am genuinely pissed off with a lot that's happening right now.

+1
I'm hardly watching darts anymore, but I always see MvG shown standing in it and the comms never mention it.

Beau Greaves chose not to play in the "World Championship".

Why didn't they just let her play both? The BDO is dead.Cooking with Sanchez wrote: ↑Thu Mar 14, 2024 1:24 pm Beau Greaves chose not to play in the "World Championship".

I find Dawson irritating.
However, he at least has a passion for the game and puts effort into his work.

Also I'm looking for things that are either immoral or wrong from a sporting perspective.
Some will say the Premier League format which I disagree with but don't consider it a sin

Re: The PDC's biggest sins in the past few years
To be honest, the last Premier League that I was seriously invested in on a week-to-week basis was 2016. It's become too overblown. I never liked the previous relegation format. I liked the Premier League format most in the 2007-2012 period, when it was 8 players who would play each twice in the league phase, and then the play-offs night with the semi finals and final. When they switched to 10 players in 2013 and introduced relegation halfway through, it was getting too much to chew, and the format of the last few years with a tournament every night is even less engaging.

In your list in the OP you list "crowds". The crowds have been an issue for over a decade, not the past few years. I struggle to believe that the crowds at PDC events in 2022 and 2023 were much worse than they were in 2012 or 2013.The Thorn wrote: ↑Thu Mar 14, 2024 5:44 pmAgreed.sennafan24 wrote: ↑Thu Mar 14, 2024 5:39 pmI find Dawson irritating.

It's a long-standing problem and one that I don't really have a solution for.

I totally believe it's the biggest sin of the PDC
They are refusing to acknowledge the problem let alone do anything about it

Re: The PDC's biggest sins in the past few years
Again, I can't imagine the crowd's behaviour has become worse, rather just stayed at the same level. I experienced beer-baths, physical assaults, and all sorts of harmful behaviour when I attended PL fixtures between 2009 and 2014 (the 2012 fixture being the worse). Crowds influencing games was an issue back then too (see Caris vs Beaton at Ally Pally 2012).
Granted, perhaps the bad crowd behaviour has mutated to other areas (Germany, etc).
The PDC have never really done anything to rectify it. But again, I'm not sure what they could do at this stage.
