Welding responded with a 100+ average set of his own in the third set. Then the match became scrappy, and it was Welding who got over the finish line.

I don't think Lloyd 100% recovered from that loss. It was the timing of how it happened that must have hurt most.

Andy Smith won a 2007 Pro Tour in Scotland by beating James Wade in the final with a 108 average. Shows the difference between floor and stage, as I can't imagine such a scenario on stage.

On the other side, Scott Rand beat Andy Smith at the 2012 World Championship by winning all 9 legs played.
