Big fan of SSJSA content so far..

If players used to contribute on forums back in the day I wonder what's changed these days?

Forum admins and those running or ruining forums at the time thought it was a good idea to allow everyone to openly verbally abuse them so one by one they decided it was not worth the effort and stopped reading and being a part of darts forums, Myself though, I am a different breed, I will take anyone to task for abuse they throw at me or fight my corner as I believe a load of dickheads on a forum should not stop anyone from posting or being a part of them because of abuse or comments made about them.

I had a run in with him at the North West UK Open Regional Final in Manchester when he was on the board next to me, The venue was not suitable as it was lacking the space needed for 8 boards and I was playing in one of the side rooms upstairs that they had crammed 2 throws into.

I was on the right hand side board playing Gary Blades and Mardle was on the left hand side board, Being left handed I was standing more to the left of the oche and Mardle was standing to the far right hand side of his oche, I was going for d16 in one leg and he moved right into me just as I was about to throw so we had words...What made it worse was that Mardle was only practicing and his game had not bulled up yet and my match was 3 legs in.

Next time I seen him after this was at an exhibition in the New Forest and he had not seen me there until he hit a 180 and ran around the room so I stuck my foot out to try and trip him up and almost did...He stopped and said...'I thought you had retired'

Anyways, He has never struck me as the sort that would get involved in confrontation so probably you are right shenmue, He is a pussy.

Probably lucky that Mardle didn't spend his time laying into darts players at tournaments. Possibly won't have helped his career in the media.
