I showed though what the game looks like when it's clicking and that was a success. Looking forward to Challenge Tour next weekend and then another adventure at the south end of the country the week after...
Alex, you were back to your first stage high quality standard. My thoughts from your post last night was wondering if you'd be up for it today and if you went on a run would your thought process change, as you must have thought you could end up getting a tour card you didn't really want at this moment in your career. It made for a fascinating watch along. You showed grit and determination to succeed with your will to win taking over. Good luck at the CT next week. Might even get to mark for you. Cheers big man!

Watching Q school is always entertaining. I haven’t had this much fun since I was at a nudist colony and accidentally backed into a meat thermometer.

I'm out of touch, how do they fill up the Pro Tour these days for no shows?

Josh Richardson won the 2016 BDO World Youth championship. That's when I first heard of him.

8 years ago and while his name has always been around he hasn't really achieved anything else.

Has he been up to anything interesting? I know he played Modus, don't remember watching him. Any good?

His tournament average does not indicate great things, although a few players below him are quite big names. You never know really.

Regardless he will be a talking point and I'm fascinated to find out how he does.

Players getting back their tour cards instantly: Lennon, Vandenbogaerde, Szaganski, Van Dongen, Killington. The first 4 are excellent and they have proved last year that they are Pro Tour material. You would expect them to have a good crack at regaining their cards in 2 years time.

Only Killington is a bit of a question mark but his level has been improving. Very impressive numbers this week.

Well I'm kind of happy that pretty much all seem capable. They don't have it their own way now. So we have a good mix of players who we know are capable.

Killington's match stats were worse in the PCs in 2023 than in 2022. Finally managed to get wins at a Euro Tour though.

But, he's 3 out of 3 at Q School, so he must have something right.

it was something like 1-1 or 2-2 between john michael & van der wal here
when the wind blew down some tall pines a little bit down the road, which in turn took down the wires, plugged up the road and cut off my laptop internet & cable tv.
everthing's back up now. I'm ok and made it through,
but I see that john michael did not.
